Camper fire in Branch County kills two children
BRONSON, Mich. —
A camper fire killed two children in Branch County on Monday morning.
Michigan State Police, Bronson Fire Department and Branch County Sheriff deputies are trying to determine what caused a camper fire on Kevin Lane that resulted in the death of a 2-year-old and a 5-year-old.
The camper caught fire around 10:30 a.m. Monday and a 7-year-old child escaped from the camper and was taken to the hospital for burns.
The Bronson Fire Chief said the camper was made of aluminum, which burns quickly.
A small family dog was also killed in the fire.
