B.O.B. open for business once again
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A popular Grand Rapids restaurant is back open for business, following the suspension of its liquor license.
The B.O.B. has been closed since July 3.
Its state liquor license was suspended by the Michigan Liquor Control Commission after a Portage man fell down a stairwell and died in May of last year.
The state said The B.O.B. overserved Kevin O'Brien when he was obviously drunk.
The state originally suspended The B.O.B.'s liquor license for three days, but when the restaurant appealed, it was upped to 10 days.
