Battle Creek man due in court for sentencing after shots fired at police

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A Battle Creek man accused of shooting at police and then barricading himself in a home is expected to learn his fate Friday.

Dariyone Clark-Brown pleaded no contest to seven charges, including attempted murder.

Last March, police say Clark-Brown shot at them after they pulled him over.

He then took off, ditched his car, and hid inside a home on Coolidge Street.

Clark-Brown was arrested, following a four-hour standoff.

Friday, he's expected to be sentenced in court.
