Albion man in jail after drug bust

ALBION, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A drug bust puts an Albion resident behind bars.

It happened in the 1300 block of N. Eaton Street in Albion, around 2:30 a.m. Sunday morning.

The Albion Department of Public Safety says the Calhoun County Special Response Team served a search warrant for drugs at a house as part of an ongoing investigation.

Detectives say they found cocaine and guns. They arrested 55-year-old Melvin Dickey. Police say he is expected to be charged with possession with intent to deliver cocaine and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
