Study: Children exposed to more screen time run higher risk of diabetes
(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - There's a new kind of warning this morning for children who love their devices.
A study in the U.K. finds children who spend three or more hours a day looking at a screen could face more of a risk for developing diabetes.
The risk factors include higher body fat and insulin resistance.
Researchers suggest cutting down on screen time to avoid higher risks for type two diabetes.
