The American Society of Plastic Surgeons says there's been a 70 percent increase in breast lifts in the past 14 years.
The data shows more than 90,000 were performed in 2013 alone, mostly in women ages 30 to 54.
Doctors use a woman's own tissue and skin to tighten the breast, giving it a more youthful appearance.
"Most commonly it's the patient that has had a baby or two or has had a fair weight gain and then weight loss," explained plastic surgeon Dr. Barry Weintraub. "Remember, as we are young the breast is 90 percent breast and 10 percent fat. As we get older, the breast loses tissue and gains more fat."
Breast implants are still the most common plastic surgery for women.
