Report: Middle, high school students may benefit from later school start time
(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - If you're having trouble waking your kids up for school this morning, a new report may be on their sleepy side.
It finds middle school and high school students could benefit from a later start each day.
The American Academy of Sleep Medicine says delaying classes until 8:30 a.m. or later could help teens solve chronic sleep loss.
It may also improve academic performance, mental health, and driving safety.
