Federal judge in Philadelphia plans to livestream hearing in NFL concussion case
PHILADELPHIA (NEWSCHANNEL 3) – Wednesday, a federal judge in Philadelphia plans to live-stream a hearing in the NFL concussion case.
The hope is for retired players to learn what's ahead for the estimated $1 billion settlement, set to roll out this year.
The NFL is moving the first $65 million in payments into trust funds to cover injury claims, baseline testing, and education.
The league has to then pay another $120 million into the injury fund over the next six months.
