Doctors in the U.K. have rebuilt the man's face after he was severely injured in a motorcycle accident.
Stephen Power was badly disfigured in the crash two years ago, and ever since, he avoids going out in public.
Plastic surgery wasn't enough to repair the badly damaged bones in his face.
But that changed when surgeons printed a 3D model of his face, and used it as a guide to reconstruct his appearance.
They made titainium implants to reconstruct Power's eye socket and cheekbone.
"I expected it to be a little bit better, but it wasn't; it was a lot different," Power said.
Analysts say the 3D printing industry was worth about $1.7 billion worldwide in 2011, and could grow to $3.7 billion by next year.
