FREEZING RAIN ADVISORY is in effect this morning from 4 to 9 o'clock for all of West Michigan except the counties bordering Indiana.  Up to 1/10" of ice accumulation is possible, perhaps more near and north of I-96.  Slippery roads are likely, especially bridges, overpasses, and entrance/exit ramps.  Please be careful traveling through midday Saturday.

CANNON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A Kent County teenager is recovering from a broken leg and cuts Thursday morning after crashing his car into a tree.

It happened in Cannon Township.

Deputies say the teen was driving north on Honey Creek Avenue just south of Cannonsburg Road when he lost control of his Jeep.

It went off the road and hit the tree.

He was pinned for about an hour, but is expected to be okay.
