GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Kent County deputies have located missing 14-year-old McKinzie Locklin, it was announced Tuesday.

Locklin was originally reported as a runaway when she left home on Sunview Drive, in Kent County's Gaines Township on Saturday night.

But on Monday, deputies updated her status to 'missing person.'

Kent County deputies said she has run away in the past, but they are concerned because it's now been two days and there's no sign of her.

Investigators say her family has been notified and wish to send along their thanks to everyone who assisted in locating the girl
