KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A former Western Michigan University student is facing multiple felony charges, accused of making threats to the campus.

44-year-old Timothy Siangdon, of Springfield, was indicted Friday in Grand Rapids.

This comes after threatening on the WMU Facebook page in August to shoot students.

Siangdon also allegedly made threats on the Rick Snyder for Michigan and Congress page.

Siangdon made the threats in August of last year, telling parents to "get expensive life insurance for your kids--somebody is really going to shoot at Western Michigan University," and telling Rick Snyder "better be prepared for a school shooting."

Siangdon now faces up to 5 years in federal prison.
