The National Weather Service maintains a WIND ADVISORY for nearly all of West Michigan from 10 AM this morning until 2 AM Saturday morning.  45 mph gusts are likely inland while 50 mph gusts are possible at the Lake Shore.  This kind of wind is capable of bringing down tree branches and creating some power outages.  Obviously, we hope that doesn't happen.  Winds blow from the northwest this morning then from the north by midday and beyond.  Stay with wwmt.com for your weather today and always!

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Two men are under arrest accused of breaking into the Full Blast Water Park in Battle Creek.

Police got the call from an employee around 3:40am Friday, August 22nd.

After setting up a perimeter around the facility on W. Hamblin, two suspects exited the south side of the building and took off running toward the train station.

One was captured right away, the other scaled a 10-foot fence and made it over to the other side.

An officer saw the suspect fleeing and quickly intercepted him.

Police say the suspects had gained entry through a door that led into the pool office area.

Once inside the suspects had gathered multiple bags of food and were preparing to leave when they were caught.
