Rocky retirement expected for many

(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The wealth gap is getting wider as more people head into a rocky retirement.

Experts say traditional pensions are becoming more rare in the private sector.

And lower-paid workers are less likely to have access to an employer-provided retirement plan.

This means the more than 70 million baby boomers heading into retirement will not have much to live off of.

The widening gap in retirement could put pressure on government services, leading more Americans to work well into what is supposed to be their golden years.
