Updated: Wednesday, August 13, 2014
Candles recalled for fire hazard story image

(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - We've got a recall to tell you about due to an increased fire hazard from a candle.

The makers of DD brand tin candles are recalling 126,000 of them, saying the flame can get too high, igniting the surface of the wax and coating on the tin container.

They're sold exclusively at Hobby Lobby stores nationwide and online from June through July of this year.

There have been reports of at least one minor fire that lead to property damage but no injuries.

You should stop using them right away and customers with receipts should contact Hobby Lobby about refunds.
