NEW YORK (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - New York Mayor Bill De Blasio says last week's security breach on the Brooklyn Bridge is a quote "wake up call."

The city has increased security on all city's bridges since the July 22nd incident.

Police believe four or five people climbed the bridge's two towers and replaced the giant American flags with white ones.

The suspects also disabled a pair of spotlights.

Police say it looked carefully planned.

The suspects are still on the loose. Their motive is unknown.

Blasio says he's quote "absolutely concerned" over bridge security in light of the incident.
