FROST ADVISORY

UNTIL 9 AM

The National Weather Service maintains a FROST ADVISORY in Muskegon, Ottawa, Kent, Ionia, Allegan, Barry, Eaton, Van Buren, Kalamazoo, Calhoun, Berrien, Cass, St. Joe, and Branch counties until 9 AM.  Early morning temperatures are already at or slightly above the freezing mark, which encourages frost.  It's reasonable for temperatures to fall through the 7 AM hour, and a light freeze is also possible.  Hopefully, plants and flowers were covered last night or brought inside for protection.

More charges expected for suspects in Amish kidnapping, sexual assault story image

NEW YORK (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - More charges are expected to be filed this week against a northern New York couple accused of kidnapping and sexually assaulting two Amish sisters.

Stephen Howells Junior and Nicole Vaisey have been arrested.

Police say the couple took the seven and 12-year old sisters from their family farm on Wednesday.

The girls were freed Thursday after being assaulted.

Officials are still going through evidence including the couple's car and computers.
