HARVEY, Ill. (AP) - A hostage situation in suburban Chicago has ended.

About two dozen heavily armed law enforcement officers stormed a home in Harvey to free four remaining hostages and capture the two suspects.

The Cook County sheriff says not a shot was fired and there were no injuries in today's operation.

The standoff began more than 20 hours earlier when police in the small city responded to a neighbor's report of a possible burglary at the home.

Two officers were wounded yesterday in an initial exchange of gunfire.
