Through 8 am

The National Weather Service has issued a WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY for the following counties in West Michigan, effective until 8 am Friday: Barry, Calhoun, and Eaton. Pockets of freezing drizzle may make hazardous driving conditions in the Advisory area, particularly on less-traveled, rural roads. The freezing drizzle is expected to end shortly before daybreak. Because of the potential for slick spots on area roads, drivers all around West Michigan should use a little more caution on this morning's commute.

Knife lodges in man's skull in China story image

CHINA (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A Chinese man is recovering from quite a headache caused by a knife lodged in his skull--obviously lucky it wasn't worse.

The 57-year-old man was walking down the street last Thursday when a knife fell from an 8th floor balcony, and landed in his skull--and he didn't even realize it.

It wasn't until he walked into a store later on that day, and a worker pointed at his scalp.

He was rushed to a hospital where the knife was removed.

He remains in recovery.
