Couple seeks funds for sign langauge video program

Updated: Tuesday, August 26, 2014

(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - An engaged couple is combining their love of sign language and educational videos, but they say they need your help.

Tina and Paul were trying to pick a first dance song and Paul surprised her with "You're the One that I Want," from Grease.

They hopped in the car and recorded themselves signing along with the song.

They posted the video on YouTube, where it's been seen over 1 million times.

Now, they want to take their sign-alongs to the next level.

They are asking for donations to help bridge the gap between hearing and deaf communities, and trying to make it a full time job.

Right now, they have raised over $1,500, but are looking to raise at least $20,000.
