CALIFORNIA (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - New details are emerging about last month's deadly bank robbery in northern California.

Stockton police say a preliminary ballistics report show it was officers who fired the bullet or bullets that killed 41-year-old bank hostage Misty Holt-Singh.

Holt-Singh was at the bank with her 12-year-old daughter at the time.

Officers say she was used as a human shield by one of the suspects and was shot 10 times.

Police say they had no other options.

But the victim's family says the way Holt-Singh's life was taken raises serious questions and concerns.

"In this case obviously they're harboring a suspicion that maybe the police department did something wrong here," said Sacramento Attorney Mark Reichel.

"I don't think there was any regard for human life at that point," Said witness Richard Gomez.

The two other suspects were killed in the shootout with police.

The report also shows 33 officers fired 600 shots, while the three suspects fired off 100 shots during the hour long chase and standoff.
