WASHINGTON, D.C. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - In the future, there could be more on the menu for soldiers serving overseas.

The U.S. Army says it's working on using 3D printers to create meals.

One food technologist tells Army Technology magazine it would give soldiers more options because they could print what they want, and it would save money by eliminating wasted food.
