WASHINGTON, D.C. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - We're watching Washington Tuesday morning and word that the president may make a large-scale move on immigration.

White House officials say plans are in the works to act before November's midterm elections, granting work permits to potentially millions of immigrants in this country illegally.

The move could push republicans to push for impeachment proceedings against President Obama.

Advocates and lawmakers who've been in touch with the administration say officials are weighing a range of options.
