MUSKEGON, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A non-profit in Muskegon has hit a big milestone.

Habitat for Humanity has broken ground on its 100th Habitat home, and the 10th house sponsored by the White Lake Volunteer Group.

The special project is being built in the 7000 block of Foxtail Court in Whitehall Township, where a groundbreaking ceremony was held on Sunday.

The buyer of the 100th Habitat home is a woman with children.

They'll live in the home with a 20-year interest-free mortgage, and will work at least 275 hours on its construction as part of the down payment.
