(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A new study released Monday in the Journal of Pediatrics shows the impact of childhood immunizations.

The CDC used research from 2001 to 2009 and found vaccinations prevented 42,000 early deaths, 20-million cases of disease and saved more than $13-billion in health-care costs.
