(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Overseas markets are feeding off a record setting day on Wall Street with huge gains of their own.
Japan's Nikkei Index hit a 4-and-a-half year high Wednesday morning.
That exchange is up 14-percent so far this year.
Tuesday the Dow closed at its highest level ever on Wall Street at 14,253. That breaks the previous record set in October 2007.
The Dow has doubled since hitting a 12-year-low in March of 2009 at the height of the recession.
Investors will keep a close eye on a big jobs report that will be released on Friday.
