Ford announces multiple safety recalls affecting over 100,000 vehicles
DEARBORN, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Ford Motor Company is issuing four safety recalls tonight.
The company is recalling about 1,000 2017 Ford F-150 and Mustang vehicles because of airbag issues.
Ford is also recalling about 200 2017 Ford Explorer, Taurus and Police Interceptor utility and sedan vehicles.
Ford says they need to replace the steering gear heat shield fasteners.
A third recall involves about 141,000 2015 through 2017 Ford F-150 crew cab and 2017 F-250 and F-350 super duty crew cab vehicles.
And the final recall involves about 800 2017 Ford Focus vehicles.
Ford says they need to inspect and replace the second-row, left-side seat back frame.
