3rd Day of Remembrance honors those killed by gun violence
KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) – Pausing to remember the victims of gun violence in Kalamazoo and talk about ways to prevent it in the future.
The Second Baptist Church in Kalamazoo will hold a Day of Remembrance on Sunday for the third year to honor those killed by gun violence.
The service is taking place one day before the anniversary of the tragic mass shooting in Kalamazoo.
Dr. Michael T. Scott, the senior pastor at the Galilee Baptist Church, talked with Jessica Harthorn on Saturday morning about why this event is so important.
