House Republicans pass their own fix to ACA

WASHINGTON, D.C. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - House Republicans passed their own fix to the Affordable Care Act just one day after President Obama announced his proposal.

The House passed legislation letting insurance companies sell individual coverage to all customers even if it falls far short of standards set in the new law.

It was headed by Representative Fred Upton, who didn't want to wait to see if the President would make good on his statement.
